We visited the Lifeboat Station last week. We found out that a boat’s life span is about 10 years and then they have to be replaced. Also that the boats need to be pushed by a tractor down to the sea because there is no boat ramp.
‘They do a brilliant job because they rescue people who get into trouble at sea and on the coast, and they also recuse animals. Thank you to the team for showing us round and explaining what you do. It really is worth a visit!’
